Duties
- Conduct comprehensive pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning to ensure optimal water quality.
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automation systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform routine inspections of pool components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Replace or repair damaged parts with precision, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed service records of all work performed, including repairs, maintenance tasks, and client communications.
- Assist with troubleshooting complex mechanical problems by applying technical knowledge and innovative solutions.
- Communicate clearly with clients about service procedures, maintenance schedules, and repair recommendations to foster trust and satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a pool service technician or repair technician with a strong background in pool maintenance and equipment repair.
- Mechanical knowledge of pool systems and familiarity with various types of pool equipment is essential.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Service technician experience preferred, demonstrating ability to diagnose issues efficiently and execute repairs confidently.
- Knowledge of chemical balancing procedures and pool cleaning techniques is required.
- Strong maintenance skills with an emphasis on safety protocols and quality workmanship.
