CTCA is very patient focused. The patient comes at the front of all we do. With all the changes in healthcare they have recently been forced to make some difficult decisions with staffing. Morale is currently low. I am hopeful that CTCA will remain to be one of the best places to work. Middle management needs to have more support from leadership to improve morale and workflow. Focus more on employees that are there to do the job and not ones that have been there for many years that are hard to weed out.
HR is very supportive, they have a wonderful mind body service for patients and staff.
Overall, I enjoyed the time I worked for CTCA, until this rough patch. I thought this would be a lifetime job for me, until I was uncertain I would have a job and being reminded of that daily.
This company gets patient are right all the time, but the staff needs to be on the priority list also. I hope for this company with such a great mission, they come through this difficult time on top.
Time off, benefits and patient oriented
Low morale, losing a lot of good associates due to job uncertainity
