Great working environment - benefits could be better for a top St. Louis employer
Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) – St. Louis, MO – August 12, 2016
Great place to be! Co-workers are great, excellent vacation policy, work is not highly stressful, management is reasonable. I work in the Alumni and Development Department and we are offered many opportunities for professional training but advancement can be slow. Biggest complaint is they offer no paid medical leave for new mothers. You must use any accrued vacation and sick time and once it runs out you are not paid for time off. During the medical leave-you still have to pay your portion of health care which is difficult when you're off without pay.
Metro pass, 22 days of vacation, great health insurance rates, professional development, excellent enviromment
Paying a significant amount for parking, onsite childcare is $1500 a month even for admins who make 30K, no paid maternity or paternity leave, 6 month probation before you can use any accrued time off
