Poor management, causing excessive short staffing by approving leave without coverage. There have been too many days I've worked with one cna and 9 patients plus getting admits. The pay and benefits are better than the local hospitals but not worth what you have to deal with. The hiring process is so long it makes you feel like you've accomplished something by getting on, but you soon realize that it was a trap. You don't want to leave thinking about how hard you worked to get on. And you try to wait for things to get better but it seems like it's only getting worse.
