This department was very poor to my original opinion of Shands.
A typical day was me running around for 13 hours on a 12 hour shift and trying just to get 15 minutes to eat lunch if I was lucky. The work its self was enjoyable but they didn't have enough staff and pushed everyone past the breaking point. The managers really gave us a hard
time when we were doing our absolute best. The hardest part was dealing with management and hoping I would get through the day when I hadn't done anything wrong. I enjoyed the job its self, working with the patients and being busy. The job was good except we were being worked to hard and being treated bad.
not getting a lunch or break, being called if i took a minute to use the bathroom.
