Despite knowledge of severe staffing shortages affecting patient care I am no longer willing to work for Virginia Mason. Despite standard processes put in place to ensure patient safety and care VM fails to uphold their own philosophies at the satellite location I was employed at. Employees, providers and clinic staff alike, are disgruntled by hiring expectations being changed effective as soon as employment starts. Management continues to support staff that compromise patient safety.
