Good assignment once finally got going, but no communication or reviews/audits on daily work good or bad.
OP Facility Coder-consultant (Former Employee) – Franklin, TN 37067 – April 19, 2017
It took over a year from the time they contacted me to the time the offered me a position. Then it took over a month to get access to the facility.
As a remote coder your only link is a recruiter. They do call every few months to say thanks for your hard work but the hardest part of the job of a remote coder is communication. Knowing what is going on with your assignment and in the field . Knowing what you are doing right and wrong on an assignment. The facility does not include you most often, so you look to your company to follow thru with communication, education and assessments. This they do not do.
The assignment was wonderful, great flexibility for hours and access. Great software. Helpful help desk.
The company has grown and now has a couple options for benefits which is a great improvement. But getting access to them has been difficult.
Only complaints are that they do not provide any reviews, audits, or communication on productivity or accuracy of your assignments, little continuing education provided and no updates on changes within the field.
