I answer phones, answer any questions the insured may have, take payments, transfer calls to their proper locations, quote policies for customer needs.
I have learned so much about State Farm while being employed there. I understand why insureds policy(ies) increase and why they decrease. Looking from the outside in, you would never know or realize why insurance rates fluctuate. Looking from the inside out, you now understand why those rates fluctuate, unfortunately insureds don’t quite understand, that is where my knowledge to assist and explain why rates change is helpful. I am able to answer any questions they may have and if I can’t I will get the answer and let the insured know.
The hardest part of the job is trying to convince an insured not to cancel their policy(ies) and go elsewhere.
The most enjoyable part is convincing that insured who wants to leave to stay.
No healthcare benefits and no chance for advancement.
