I dreaded going to work every day, and I have been in this field for years. The management was terrible, the pay was WAY too low for what was expected of employees, and you wind up stuck on doubles repeatedly because people either don't show up for their scheduled shifts or run significantly late.
They DO NOT adequately prepare you for the kind of behaviors you encounter in the homes. I expected high behaviors, but I was not, IN ANY WAY, prepared for the frequency, nor the level of aggression.
The only upside was the benefits, but those were wildly expensive through the company.
