Fidelity does a lot for its associates in the area of retirement and benefits but as a result, pay is often a bit lower than the industry average. It is definitely a trade off and in most cases for the better if you are interested in long term planning. The people, for the most part, are good to work with and there is a lot of competition for advancement. Fidelity does a pretty good job when it comes fostering advancement and encourages associates to move around between business units to gain more experience.
