My typical day with the Biltmore Company varied each day depending on which department I would work for as I worked for several different departments on the property. I worked at several different venues either as Banquet Server, Food-Runner, Dining Room Attendant, or front desk PBX operator. I learned many different aspects of the hotel and restaurant industry working on the Biltmore Estate and was managed by many different people. I found all my managers on the Biltmore Estate to be very professional, fair, and fun to work for. My co-workers were equally professional and were like family to me. We all had an excellent work attitude and when it was time to work we worked and when it was time to play we had fun playing outside of work. The hardest part of the job was carrying heavy trays of food up the long staircase each night when I was food running. The most enjoyable part of my job was being able to work with so many amazing people.
