Holiday Inn is a great company to work for however, the hardest part of working at this job was being completely understaffed. It taught me how to be innovative and enhance my problem solving skills. Management did the best that they could, but it was apparent that training and development needed to be implemented. My co-workers and I worked cohesively as a team in spite of the need to have more hands on deck. A typical work day was at times were unstructured in which I believe resulted in co-workers frustrations. The enjoyable part of working at this job was building lasting relationships via guests and co-workers. We all managed to help out in other areas to try to maintain a smooth operational flow. We were able to get overtime, in which the substanial increase in finances is always a plus.
