Good pay and decent benefits
Inside Sales Representative Outbound Sales (Former Employee) – Rio Rancho, New Mexico – August 14, 2015
Inside Sales Outbound-
A typical day would consist of cold calling to attain acquisition accounts, you and a field representative share an account set, your job is to setup appointments for roadmap sessions, with potential clients. Main struggle was trying to find decision makers on non established accounts and we lacked the tools to successfully obtain this information (IE RainKing). Gate keeper these days is voicemail! There is typically only one Outbound representative per team consisting of 10-15 representatives, so managers are unaware of how to support individuals in this role, I was not setup for success. Because of several mergers of different companies, policies and procedures are not streamlined. I was hired as an experienced sales representative because I have worked in many sales jobs before. This is NOT a sales job, it's a glorified admin job to aid egotistical "Outside Sales Managers."
Great pay, decent benefits, M-F work week.
Job security, loss of autonomy.
