Machine Operator (Current Employee) – Pierceton, IN – July 13, 2018
7 days a week, 60 plus hours, you get points if you take days off. hard to get vacation time approved, you can not use vacation time for weekends, no work life balance, HOT facility, Die Cast is brutal.

Great Work Place but the Lead Supervisors are unprofessional
Machine Operator (Current Employee) – Pleasant Prairie, WI – August 12, 2015
Mandatory Safety meeting begins each and every shift. Which is awesome. One of the top qualities in Shiloh Industries. However, rules and guidelines are followed but yet NOT followed. Instead of the employees working on the Die Cast floor being treated as an essential part to Shiloh's growth and revenue, they are divided into favorites and undesirables. Meaning few are targeted while others skate by without blemish and never are dealt with accordingly when SAFETY guidelines should be strictly enforced. Shift Supervisors can hardly run their shifts accordingly without interjection. Operators are often distracted by the possibility of their jobs being in jeopardy when doing the RIGHT thing. Communication is between minimum and average because operators do not feel as if they actually own their machine.
