Low pay for overall responsibilities
Paraeducator (Former Employee) – Wichita, KS – April 6, 2019
You have to convince them that whatever injury you have (and they accumulate) disrupts you from doing your job in order to be accepted for workers comp. They pay you so little and consider paying new hires more and not offer higher pay to existing employees. Favoritism is at the core of management and good luck if you want to call in, you will get an earful for being sick. They also only care about money, in order to continue being compensated for the students they have, they will discontinue certain meds that help them in order to show why they need to stay. Disgusting.
