I worked at the Biltmore Estate for 18 weeks. It gave me new experiences, such as working in 3 different restaurants, working 9-5 shifts and earlier shifts that started as early as 5 in the morning. I learned how to accomplish tasks in a sufficient and organized manner. The Chefs overall were helpful and eager to teach new and better ways on how to make doughs, batters, pies, or any other dessert and bakery item. The hardest part of the job was adjusting to a different restaurant every 6 weeks and learning how new people work on a daily basis. However, this was also enjoyable because I was able to meet new people often and each person would teach me something new in the kitchen or bakeshop.
