Very typical retail job. I've had good managers and bad managers at Michaels but mostly good. The hours are flexible but unless you can break into management (very few roles) you won't get full time hours so it's a pretty high turnover of employees - mostly college kids, retired people, crafters looking for the discount, and snow birds. It's fine but if you're looking for a career, I'm not sure it would be a good fit. Although, like I said, I had very good associates and managers on the teams I was on.
I honestly couldn't tell you anything about the CEO so I don't approve/disapprove.
No full time work, no AC on truck dock so the summers can be brutal
