Not what it was presented to be
Sales Representative (Former Employee) – Independence, OH – February 5, 2016
The thing I loved most was the customers. The thing I felt the worst about was the customers. They would be convinced to set up appointments and pay in advance at 90 years old. Many of those people couldn't make it to the appointment and they never knew they could call back and get another appointment set, so the company just kept the money.
Most customers were called so often they got irate and either hung up, screamed in the phone to never be called again or just didn't pick up. So we would call most of them back the same day.
The sales goal tier changed so often, with bad leads it was becoming harder and harder to make money. The reps were all unhappy with that. It became disillusioning and hard to find motivation. Very negative environment.
