Eaton is a good place to work if you're young, do not have a spouse, and would like to have lots of money. The work week is usually six days working ten hours. Making weekend plans is nearly impossible because you won't know for sure if you are working until Friday. Even national company holidays are sometime required overtime despite the work calendar saying different. Communication between the managers and floor workers is almost non-existent and sometimes what is communicated is completely false. But if you have time to devote your life and want to buy things or pay off bills it is the place to be.
The health benefits are reasonable not as good as when i first started there ten years ago. There is a 401K program. And paid vacation time starting at 10 days in the door which increases to 15 after five years. You may also purchase extra vacation days.
Lots of chances for overtime and making money. Good health benefits
Poor management. No personal time. Can't make plans. Lots of overtime.
