Employee talent is very often not recognized or compensated until it’s too late.
Manager/supervisor (Former Employee) – Elk Grove Village, IL – May 12, 2019
Geodis upper management very often will brush off a request to compensate, reward, recognize talented motivated individuals. And it’s only when the agent looks elsewhere for employment and gets an offer letter, that Geodis makes a counter offer. Usually it’s too late by then and the valuable agent ends up leaving. It’s a shame that this trend is long standing and no signs of change. They’d rather save on giving the employee a raise or bonus, (cost: $2000 to $5000 a year one time raise) instead, they lose the valuable employee, lose profit, mistakes, and errors erupt while new employee is found and trained, and when they find a new agent, they pay them the $2000 to $5000 more a year the talented employee that Left was asking for..... not to mention all the cost of the errors and backlog the whole transition has caused, sometime in excess of over $10,000.
It’s pretty sad.
Geodis blue is a cool color :-p
Upper management looks at numbers and their bonuses. Not the people.
