Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Legal Secretary/Receptionist to join our vibrant law firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support legal professionals across a diverse range of practice areas. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with exceptional organizational skills, ready to manage administrative tasks efficiently while providing outstanding front-desk support. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow within a fast-paced legal environment and contribute to the smooth operation of our law office.

Duties

  • Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception experience
  • Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately
  • Maintain and organize legal documents using document management systems such as CLIO and MS Outlook.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document review to support ongoing legal cases and research efforts
  • Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars
  • Conduct initial client interviews and gather necessary information for case preparation in various practice areas.

Experience

Entry-level position.

We are willing to train the successful candidate to grow with our firm.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven clerical or legal administrative experience within a busy law office
  • Familiarity with legal case management software such as CLIO and MS Outlook is highly preferred
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent typing, transcription, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client interaction experience

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
