Job Summary

Gillmann Services is hiring an experienced Concrete Surveyor to support commercial construction projects throughout the Columbus, OH area. The ideal candidate has experience performing construction layout, establishing grades and elevations, and using surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout for footings, foundations, slabs, walls, columns, and anchor bolts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and engineering drawings.
• Establish control points, grades, and elevations.
• Operate total stations, GPS equipment, laser levels, and other surveying instruments.
• Verify layout accuracy before and during concrete placement.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews.
• Maintain accurate survey documentation and field notes.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction surveying or concrete layout experience preferred.
• Experience with total stations, GPS, and laser leveling equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Trimble, Leica, or Topcon surveying equipment
• Commercial construction

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
