Commercial Real Estate Credit Department – Loan Administrator
We are currently looking for a Loan Administrator to support the Commercial Real Estate Credit department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in loan administration, mortgage operations, commercial real estate lending, residential lending, or a related banking environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting both Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Residential loan processes, including documentation review, closing coordination, boarding, servicing support, and exception tracking.
- Working knowledge of CRE and Residential loan products, loan lifecycle processes, collateral documentation, escrow requirements, and post-closing administration.
- Hands-on experience with Encompass loan origination system, including pipeline management, document review, data integrity validation, and workflow coordination.
- Strong understanding of loan documentation, credit approvals, underwriting conditions, closing packages, and funding processes.
- Familiarity with applicable lending regulations, compliance standards, and internal control requirements related to CRE and Residential lending.
- Ability to review files for accuracy, completeness, and policy adherence, and to escalate discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple loans and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across lending, underwriting, processing, closing, compliance, and operations teams.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment in handling sensitive borrower and transaction information.
Workplace setting and schedule
- 5 days onsite, New York, NY
- Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm
