Interior Designer – Ultra-Luxury Hospitality | Manhattan

We are partnering with a leading AD100 design firm in Manhattan to identify a talented Interior Designer to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to work on some of the most exclusive, design-driven hospitality projects in the country.

The ideal candidate will bring a refined design sensibility, strong technical skills, and experience creating elevated guest experiences across luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, private clubs, and other high-end hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of ultra-luxury hospitality interiors from concept and design development through documentation and installation
  • Develop sophisticated guest-facing spaces, including guestrooms, suites, lobbies, lounges, restaurants, bars, and amenity areas
  • Assist with FF&E selection, sourcing, specification, and procurement coordination
  • Develop detailed millwork, custom furniture, and specialty design elements
  • Produce interior elevations, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, and detailed drawing packages
  • Create compelling mood boards, material palettes, and client presentations
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, fabricators, and senior design leadership to maintain design intent throughout the project
  • Support material and finish selections with a focus on aesthetics, durability, functionality, and the overall guest experience

Qualifications:

  • 4–8+ years of experience in luxury hospitality or high-end interior design
  • Portfolio demonstrating sophisticated, design-driven hospitality work
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Experience with hospitality FF&E, custom furniture, millwork, and material specifications
  • Strong understanding of the level of detail and coordination required for luxury hospitality environments
  • Excellent graphic and presentation skills with a highly refined design eye
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple project priorities in a fast-paced studio environment
