Restaurant Server Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and dependable server to provide attentive service and help guests enjoy their dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and present menus.
- Explain menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Enter orders into the POS system and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly.
- Check on guests, refill drinks, and assist with additional requests.
- Clear used dishes and keep tables clean throughout service.
- Prepare bills and process payments accurately.
- Clean and reset tables for the next guests.
- Restock supplies and complete opening, closing, and assigned cleaning duties.
- Follow food-safety, hygiene, and restaurant policies.
- Work with team members and report guest concerns to the manager.
Requirements
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to multitask and work in a busy environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry serving trays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others.
- Availability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous serving experience preferred.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
