JOB DESCRIPTION
The Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring proper collateral perfection of all bank loan applications, including commercial, consumer, mortgage and participations (purchased/sold). This position functions as part of the centralized Loan Operations Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain a log of all new and renewed loans.
- Perform final review on loan documentation to ensure loan information has been accurately entered into the Core System and all required signatures have been obtained.
- Perfect recording documents – Mortgage, Assignment of Rents, Vehicle Title, UCC Filings, and UCC Continuations.
- Create and maintain tracking records for the receipt of recorded documents.
- Review and follow-up on Final Title Policies.
- Order post-closing UCC Searches to ensure bank is in the correct lien position.
- Scan/index loan documents for electronic retention in the bank’s online storage application.
- Monitor all new and renewed loans for compliance with the Flood Act.
- Maintain record of all loans with flood insurance for auditing purposes.
- Process escrow disbursements, real estate taxes, hazard insurance, flood insurance and PMI in a timely manner to avoid penalties and lapse in coverage.
- Complete annual escrow account analysis (paying of property taxes) and prepare correspondence to notify the customer of adjustments in payment amount.
- Maintain complete confidentiality with all bank business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
