Compensation:
$14 - $15 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming merchandise against purchase orders or invoices
- Storing merchandise in designated areas of the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and organization
- Retrieving merchandise from storage for delivery or shipment
- Performing regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring that safety and hygiene standards are met
- Operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software are a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 60 lbs.) and work in a physically demanding environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
