Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and providing excellent service to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures during preparation and service.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential.
- Experience in retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills are necessary for accurate transactions.
