Purchasing a Smart Sourcing Subscription and Contacts
A Smart Sourcing subscription lets you contact candidates with resumes on Indeed. Review the subscription plans and pricing options to find the best fit for your hiring needs. This article explains how to buy a Smart Sourcing subscription as well as contacts.
How to purchase a Smart Sourcing subscription
- Sign in to your employer account on Indeed, or create one if you don’t have one yet.
- Go to Smart Sourcing Plans and Pricing.
- Review the features of the available subscription types and select Buy now.
- Select billing cycle.
- Enter the Quantity of subscriptions you'd like.
- Note: Each team member needs their own subscription to contact candidates.
- Select Review order.
- Confirm the details and tick the box under Order Total.
- Place order.

- Go to your Smart Sourcing dashboard.
- Choose Select a job from the top banner or after searching for a job.
- You'll see the Welcome to Sourcing Assistant window.
- Follow the instructions to set up the assistant.

How to purchase more contacts for a single user
Professional subscriptions can buy shared contacts and unlimited additional contacts. Standard subscriptions can buy up to 70 additional contacts per month.
- Go to your Subscriptions page.
- Scroll down and select the three dots next to the subscription you want to buy contacts for.
- Select Buy contacts.
- Enter the number of contacts you'd like to buy.
- Confirm the details and Place order.

Answer: Yes. Smart Sourcing contacts expire after 6 months.
Question: How do I transfer contacts to another user?
Answer: You can only move contacts to your shared pool or to someone with a Professional subscription. Here's how:
- Go to your Subscriptions page.
- Scroll down to Subscriptions and click the three dots next to the one you want.
- Choose the user you want to move contacts from.
- Choose the user or shared pool you want to move the contacts to.
