Job Title: Server
Location: POGU Restaurant – Daly City, CA
Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

About POGU:
POGU is a modern Korean restaurant located in the heart of San Francisco, renowned for its innovative cuisine and exceptional service. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant dining experience that blends traditional flavors with contemporary flair. Our team is passionate about hospitality and dedicated to providing memorable experiences for our guests.

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidates will have a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve orders efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns.
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
