The Admin Assistant - Customer Service is responsible for supporting daily customer service and administrative operations, including order entry, shipping coordination, and direct customer communication. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, accounting, and production scheduling while ensuring compliance with quality systems and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Strong planning and organizational abilities with flexibility and decision-making capabilities

Primary Responsibilities Customer & Internal Communication: Provide direct support to customers via phone, email, and in person. Relay customer requests, new orders, and change requests to production scheduling. Order Processing & Systems: Maintain proficiency in the JobBoss system for order entry, shipping, and entering material receipts. Learn and navigate customer IT portals (e.g., EDI, supplier portals). Shipping & Logistics: Create packing lists, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and shipping labels. Schedule carriers as required. Department Support: Perform data entry across various departments and assist accounting with payment issues as needed. Manufacturing Awareness: Maintain an understanding of stamping manufacturing flow and processes. Quality System & Compliance RequirementsMaintain familiarity with the Larsen Quality Policy, IMS Policy, and company objectives. Understand standards and procedures relating to Documented Information, Competence/Awareness/Training, Control of Non-Conforming Products, and Preventive & Corrective Actions. Comply with applicable ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 requirements. Participate in internal, second-party audits, and customer service training as required.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
