Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary: $75,000–$85,000
Maintenance Supervisor | Multifamily Community
We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at a multifamily apartment community in Columbus, OH. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, maintaining the property to high standards, and ensuring excellent service for residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of Maintenance Technicians
- Oversee daily work orders, apartment turns, and preventive maintenance
- Perform hands-on repairs as needed, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and general maintenance
- Inspect the property and ensure all maintenance work is completed to company standards
- Coordinate vendors, maintain inventory, and oversee maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry regulations
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build positive resident relationships
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience
- Previous experience leading or supervising a maintenance team
- HVAC Certification required
- Strong hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
