Work Setting: On-site
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.94–$60.00 per hour
Schedule: Four 12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM–07:00 PM
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, if applicable

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ambulatory care and outpatient clinic team. The RN will provide safe, patient-centered care before, during, and after outpatient procedures and diagnostic services.

This position is ideal for nurses with experience in acute care, medical-surgical nursing, ambulatory care, outpatient clinics, procedural nursing, infusion, ambulatory surgery, or same-day surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
• Start and maintain IVs.
• Assist with outpatient procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Collect blood and other specimens.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Manage pain and symptoms.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, referrals, and patient services.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the healthcare team.
• Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and quality-care standards.

Required Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license or eligible Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two years of recent acute-care nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ambulatory care or outpatient nursing experience.
• Medical-surgical, procedural, infusion, ambulatory surgery, or same-day surgery experience.
• ACLS certification, if required for the assignment.
