Job Overview:

We are currently accepting resumes for an Experienced Lead Fabricator with MIG/TIG welding experience, to join our Fabrication Team. 3 years of work experience with MIG welding is preferred, having TIG welding knowledge is ideal, with a good understanding of fabrication practices.

In this role you will be fabricating to print, both large and small custom assemblies. This position is required to be familiar with fabrication drawings, ability to layout and tack up one’s own assemblies, cross inspect others work and have your own work inspected by others, as well as an understanding of weld quality & sequencing to ensure high quality fit and function of final assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welding and fabrication of Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum utilizing both MIG and TIG welding processes

- Accurately read and work from fabrication drawings ensure proper fit up and as built quality

- Position, align, fit up and tack weld complex assemblies

- Thread, bend, assemble and install a variety of weldments and assemblies

- Use of measurement and hand tools

- Perform both repairs and part revisions as required

Skills and Qualifications:

- Must be able to pass a MIG welding test

-TIG test for those with knowledge

- Must have the ability to read fabrication drawings

- Must be able to use measuring devices including rulers, calipers, and tapes

- Must have a high attention to detail to ensure high quality

- Must be willing to work OT during the week and weekend as business requires.

- Ability to troubleshoot and inspect weld quality

- High school diploma/GED is required

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
