- Improve processes to support litigation efforts, including templates, playbooks, matter intake, status reporting, spend management, and lessons-learned routines.
- Aid the legal team in responding to agency investigations, third-party requests for information, and subpoenas, including issue spotting, document coordination, and drafting initial responses.
- Review marketing, advertising, and product promotional materials (print, digital, web, social, trade show materials) for legal risk, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Quality, and Regulatory/EHS teams to ensure claims are appropriately substantiated, appropriately qualified, and aligned with product performance, safety, labeling, and applicable standards.
General Legal Support
- Provide general legal support to Associate General Counsel – Corporate and Transactions, Senior Counsel and Director of Compliance, and business stakeholders as needed, including review of selected commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs, supplier/customer terms, service agreements) and support for compliance initiatives.
- Coordinate the Company’s records management and records retention program and assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining records retention schedules, guidance, and training materials across key business functions.
- Assist in evaluating emerging laws and regulations and guiding the Company’s response.
Education (required):
