Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy Clinic. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures by conducting pre-procedure assessments, assisting during procedures, monitoring patients during recovery, administering medications, and providing patient education. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with clinical standards and infection control protocols.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive pre-procedure nursing assessments, including reviewing medical histories, medications, allergies, and obtaining vital signs.
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures by providing education, obtaining informed consent documentation, and ensuring appropriate pre-procedure instructions have been followed.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and other gastrointestinal procedures.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) interventions as required.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, infection prevention protocols, and all clinic policies and procedures.
Requirements
- RN License
- BLS, ACLS
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an endoscopy.
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
