Vikram Subramaniam

Vikram Subramaniam is Group Vice President of Product and UX at Indeed, where he leads the strategy and execution of products that power the job seeker experience across the platform. He is deeply focused on understanding the wants, needs, and behaviors of job seekers so they can be more effectively matched to the right opportunities.

In this role, Vikram owns the end-to-end job seeker experience and oversees user experience design across the Indeed platform, ensuring interactions are intuitive, human, and delightful for all users. He also leads Indeed’s AI infrastructure—the foundational backbone that supports AI product innovation and acceleration company-wide—and guides the development of AI experiences designed to act as trusted companions for job seekers.

Vikram brings deep experience in the HR technology sector, having held leadership roles spanning product strategy, operations, and marketplace innovation. His career includes product and leadership positions at Upwork, Symphony Talent, Chegg Careers, eBay, Netflix, and Yahoo. He began his career in management consulting.

Vikram holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Grinnell College and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University.
