Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)
Location: St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our team in beautiful St. Croix. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children from infancy through adolescence in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the local community while enjoying the unique lifestyle and natural beauty of the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical exams, developmental screenings, and diagnostic evaluations for pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests as appropriate.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and health education initiatives as needed.
  • Stay current on best practices and advancements in pediatric healthcare through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with a specialization in Pediatrics.
  • Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) would be a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric primary or acute care preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Current BLS and PALS certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
