Company Earns 100 percent on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 16th Annual

Corporate Equality Index

Indeed, the world’s #1 job site, proudly announced today that it received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. This was Indeed’s first year of submission, and it joins the ranks of 609 major U.S. businesses which also earned top marks this year.

“At Indeed, we firmly believe in celebrating and supporting the LGBTQ culture and community both in and outside of the workplace,” said Paul Wolfe, SVP Human Resources of Indeed. “We are deeply committed to creating an inclusive work environment and culture where all people feel comfortable being themselves and expressing their opinions. We’ll continue to support efforts to create an open environment, and assist both job seekers and employers who are addressing stumbling blocks, by lending our voice and research to broader discussions on challenges and solutions.”

The 2018 CEI rated 947 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. Indeed’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is the educational arm of America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people.
