Working for the VA was great for longevity. I did not see much of a turnover rate as employees there has been there for a very long time. Working as a CNA has had it pros & cons. Sometimes we were short staffed and had to work the whole floor alone.

Working at the VA is a great job for a nursing assistant, the pay and benefits are great and the nurses actually help, mostly everyone works as a team. I wouldn’t recommend working here though if you’re looking to go back to school in person, because they do not allow part time work. Also, get ready...Show more
