We are seeking a Survey Tech for a position in Dublin, OH.

Job Summary: Our civil engineering company is seeking a skilled and experienced Survey Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Surveying Department in the preparation, organization, and completion of fieldwork and office tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with surveying operations including topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys
• Conduct field surveys using various surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors
• Organize and maintain surveying equipment, tools, and supplies
• Prepare and review survey field notes, sketches, and data files
• Assist with preparation of survey plans and reports
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the accurate and timely completion of surveying tasks
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or technical certificate in Surveying or a related field
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in surveying, including fieldwork and office tasks
• Proficient in the use of surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other surveying software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
