About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Jewelry Sales Professional who enjoys building genuine customer relationships and creating a welcoming, personalized experience. This is a versatile role within an established independent jeweler, where you’ll focus on sales while also contributing to inventory, merchandising, light watch services, and other day-to-day store needs.

What You’ll Do

• Build genuine relationships with customers and provide a welcoming, personalized sales experience
• Guide clients through jewelry selections, bridal, gifts, and other purchases based on their needs and preferences
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with receiving and entering merchandise
• Support showcase presentation, merchandising, and overall showroom appearance
• Perform light service tasks such as watch battery installations and other quick customer repairs
• Assist with repair intake and other day-to-day store operations as needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment and help wherever needed during downtime
• Develop lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and strengthen the store’s connection to the community

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of professional jewelry industry experience
• Strong sales experience with a genuine ability to build relationships and connect with clients
• Jewelry experience is highly preferred; luxury retail experience will also be considered
• A warm, personable communication style and the ability to make customers feel comfortable and welcomed
• Someone who can engage naturally with a wide variety of people and personalities
• Professional, dependable, punctual, and positive
• Comfortable learning new products, services, and processes
• Experience with watches, inventory, merchandising, or basic jewelry services is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently and contribute wherever needed in a busy independent jewelry environment
• Saturday availability is required
• A genuine passion for jewelry, retail, and creating meaningful customer experiences

Compensation & Benefits

• $22–$27 per hour, based on experience and expertise
• Commission opportunities based on profit, including sales and eligible repair and estate business
• Performance-based bonus opportunities
