Job Overview

MGM Energy is seeking a motivated and results-oriented ESA Outreach & Enrollment Representative to assist eligible customers in enrolling in utility-sponsored Energy Savings Assistance Programs.

This is a high-volume outbound calling position focused on contacting potential customers, explaining program benefits, scheduling appointments, and assisting customers through the enrollment process. Successful candidates will be comfortable making frequent cold calls, handling objections, building quick connections, and meeting enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Successfully complete all required certification and program training.
• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers.
• Explain ESA Program benefits and eligibility requirements.
• Identify and document customer eligibility according to program guidelines.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up calls as needed.
• Guide customers through online enrollment applications.
• Maintain accurate customer records within CRM and tracking systems.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and enrollment goals.
• Stay informed on program requirements, utility guidelines, and compliance standards.
• Provide professional, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Report to work on time and prepared to meet daily performance expectations.
• Comfortable making 100+ outbound calls per day.
• Positive attitude despite rejection, unanswered calls, and objections.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport quickly over the phone.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate web-based applications.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Previous experience in telemarketing, call centers, customer service, outreach, appointment setting, or sales.
• Proven ability to meet performance goals or sales quotas.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

This position requires spending most of the workday on the phone making outbound calls to individuals who may not be expecting your call. Success in this role requires persistence, resilience, and comfort handling rejection while maintaining a positive attitude.

This is not an administrative, customer support, or office-clerical position. Applicants should be comfortable with cold calling, appointment setting, and working toward enrollment goals on a daily basis.

Bonus opportunities are based on enrollment production and performance metrics.
