** This opportunity is for established independent contractors with an active DOT & MC authority only. **

J.B. Hunt is expanding our Final Mile Services home delivery carrier force. We are looking for carriers that are interested in contracting with us to deliver and install appliances, furniture and exercise equipment in customer homes.

This position operates on two-day, overnight routes.

  • Deliver in Cleveland area: Monday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Thursday
  • Deliver in Eastern KY/Charleston, WV area: Wednesday-Thursday

Other details:

  • Average $1,000 per day ($2,000 per route)
  • Average stops: 9-10 per route
  • 7-day payment terms
  • Established customer base with consistent routes
  • Access to third-party discounts for truck rental, fuel and tools
  • Access to nationwide accounts

Carrier Requirements Include:

  • Active US DOT & MC numbers
  • Previous home delivery (white glove) experience
  • Previous furniture delivery and installation experience
  • 26’ box truck with liftgate
