Position: Electrical CAD Technician

Compensation: $25 - $28 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Akron, Ohio

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical CAD Technician to join their team!

Join a dynamic team working on exciting projects involving substation modifications and equipment replacements. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical CAD Technician to work alongside Project Managers and Engineers, contributing to the development of key infrastructure in remote communities. If you are passionate about drafting and design, this is the perfect role to advance your career.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare and revise engineering drawings of basic components
• Adhere to company and client drafting standards
• Follow ANSI standard drafting practices
• Draft, design, and document various projects
• Utilize various drafting and design software
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree in CAD related program or CAD certification
• 2+ years of relevant drafting experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with BlueBeam and Revit
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
