Full job description

  • Anthony-Thomas is searching for a Delivery Driver Associate for their wholesale & retail business. This is a local route that stays largely in the metro Columbus area. A sprinter van is the main vehicle for this route (no overnights). When you are not driving you will work in our warehouse.

We are one of the largest family-owned and operated candy companies in the mid-west and now employ over 200 people and produce an average of 50,000 pounds of chocolates on two shifts daily. Currently Anthony-Thomas is expanding its retail, wholesale, and contract-manufacturing divisions.

What you'll be doing as our Delivery Driver Associate:

  • Load and unload company vehicles with packages for delivery.
  • A large part of your day will include driving a company owned vehicle to our retail stores and other locations around Columbus, OH transporting our products.
  • Demonstrate safe and courteous driving at all times.
  • Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle.
  • Take Inventory, delivery in a timely manner, check quality and quantity, handle heavy loads, and report to the warehouse manager.
  • Some warehouse work is required with forklifts.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

What you need to become a Delivery Driver Associate:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license within the State of Ohio
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have an excellent driving history.
  • No CDL Required
  • This position requires drug testing and pre background check.
