Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Crane Operator with a NCCCO license to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of cranes, heavy machinery, and have a class A CDL. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

  • Operate cranes to lift, move, and position loads as required on construction sites.
  • Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations.
  • Maintain clear communication with ground personnel using hand signals or radios.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks, including dump trucks and roll-off trucks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on cranes and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role involving heavy machinery operation.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Valid crane operator certification and license is a MUST (NCCCO). DO NOT APPLY if you do not have a NCCCO license.
  • Experience operating a Class A CDL truck is required.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork on-site.
  • Commitment to safety practices and procedures at all times.
