THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION (9 MONTHS OR LESS) - PAYING $20.50 PER HOUR

EMPLOYMENT STARTS 05/01/2026 THROUGH 10/31/2026.

Our Mission is to perpetuate the wildlife resources of the state, to provide a quality state parks system, and to provide enjoyable and sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities that educate and inspire current and future generations to serve as active stewards of Colorado's natural resources. Colorado Parks and Wildlife. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

In addition to performing quality control evaluations, assist the Invasive Species Coordinator and Invasive Species Specialists with the following tasks as assigned:

  • Independently or as a team, evaluate the quality of WID Stations

    • Conduct secret-shopper quality assurance evaluations at WID Stations.

    • Conduct customer service quality assurance evaluations.

    • Write up reports based on the secret shopper quality assurance evaluations.

This position requires regular overnight travel and distance driving. Early morning,
evening & weekend work required.

In addition to performing quality control evaluations, assist the Invasive Species Coordinator and Invasive Species Specialists with the following tasks as assigned:

  • Independently or as part of a team, staff educational events and give professional presentations to increase education among a variety of users (e.g. homeowners associations, community action networks, watershed groups, youth events, school groups, anglers, boaters, etc).

  • Independently or in a group, perform boat inspector and decontaminator responsibilities at Colorado reservoirs (e.g. holidays, tournaments, etc), as needed.

  • Assist the mechanic with power washer unit maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, repair, transport and storage.

  • Provide excellent customer service to members of the public and partner agencies.

  • Perform general office work such as data entry, filing, copying, loading and unloading supplies, GIS map mapping or analysis, paying bills, etc.

  • Write technical reports, memos and briefing documents.

  • Other duties as assigned.
