Full job description

Wexford based settlement company/law firm is seeking an EXPERIENCED real estate title processor/closing coordinator. Experience with SoftPro closing software, title insurance, and Closing Disclosures/HUD-1 Settlement Statements is REQUIRED.

General Duties:

  • Coordinate real estate closings;
  • Review Title search for clearance of title and work with all parties to correct any title issues;
  • Read and understand all closing instructions/lien letters/tax certifications/sales agreements and notify parties of any potential issues/problems;
  • Maintain friendly and open communication with lender, real estate agents, buyers and sellers during transaction;
  • Address inquiries from lender, real estate agents, vendors, buyers and sellers in a timely manner;
  • Prepare title commitments and other required documentation to send to lender;
  • Coordinate the closing with all parties;
  • Preparation of all closing documents required including the Deed and all Affidavits;
  • Preparation of the Closing Disclosure or HUD-1 Settlement Statement as required.

Must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, must be able to multi-task and handle volume work. Must possess good organizational skills.
