The Role: Account Executive
As an Account Executive, you will be the engine of our growth, responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. The primary focus of this role is acquiring new business within the energy sector, specifically targeting Rural Electric Cooperatives (RECs), utilities, and other companies involved in energy generation, transmission, and distribution. You will secure these new accounts by working directly with their safety departments to provide comprehensive solutions for their flame-resistant clothing (FRC) programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the sales pipeline from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing new accounts.
- Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., Safety Directors, Operations Managers) within the target sectors.
- Become a subject-matter expert on our managed programs and safety apparel, including FRC and high-visibility garments.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain and optimize our CRM system to ensure meticulous tracking of leads, opportunities, and client data for efficient pipeline management.
- Industry Engagement: Represent Force Fitters at key industry trade shows and events, networking with potential clients and staying current on market trends.
- Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to assist in the execution of campaigns and provide feedback from the front lines to help shape future initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success, specifically within the energy or safety industries.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with modern CRM platforms.
- A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset suited for a remote role.

- Direct experience in a safety-focused role (e.g., Safety Manager, EHS Coordinator, Safety Specialist), giving you instant credibility with clients.
- A proven track record of selling products or services to large industrial or field-based teams.
- Working knowledge of critical safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).
